My advice is to secure your spot on my calendar as soon as possible (you can do so with a $500 retainer). Many months are booked up to 5-8 months in advance. And while I try my best to accommodate last minute bookings, due to the unpredictability of births, I only take 3 births a month.

Currently we are in three major cities and surrounding areas: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. This is made possible in partnership with a network of professional back-up & associate photograhers & doulas (like in your Midwifery/OB practice).

Birth Photography, while not a necessity, is an investment into your family’s legacy you will not regret. Similar to when you hire a wedding photographer, birth photography also documents a major life event; except births aren't scheduled (for the most part). We are on-call 24/7 for weeks at a time (about 4 weeks w/each client), ready to go at any time of the day or night- and there are no re-takes! Being a birth photographer requires a special set of skills, equipment, experience & commitment; and I LOVE IT! Your investment allows me to hire professional back-ups, reliable babysitting, stay current with latest technology, equipment, carry liability insurance & cover general business expenses.

Absolutely! I believe every family deserves to have these fleeting moments captured forever. We get creative and work out convenient payment plans as long as the balance is paid by 36 weeks or with a higher retainer, when I go on call. Ask about Baby Registry options as well!

It’s hard to predict exact number of images because it depends on the length of the birth. Base packages include at least 60 non-repeated, carefully selected and edited images that cover the highlights of your Birth Story. But if you don’t want me choosing your photos- you can upgrade your package to have all of your photos edited (usually 100+ images for average length births).

We stay in communication often leading up to your due date, and once in active labor I join you at your delivery place when you are 5-6cm dilated; since early labor can last from several hours to days, and even spread out over a few weeks.

Once you’re in active labor, I stay with you for the remainder of labor/delivery whether it’s 3 hrs or 30 hrs. And once baby arrives safely earth side, I stay for another 1-2 hrs postpartum to make sure we get those special bonding moments right after birth before giving you much needed rest.

In case of an emergency or extreme illness, I have a couple of experienced photographers available to come & cover your birth. If we miss your birth because baby came too quickly, the amount paid is credited for photography services of your choosing (ie: newborn in-hospital, newborn at-home, milestone or family session). If we miss your birth because there was a lack of communication on your part, then we will happily join you as soon as possible and capture the remaining of your birth story, but no credits or refunds will be given.

Some hospitals allow us to come in as long as it’s not a life-threatening circumstance, and I am happy to help you advocate for that should the time come. It is ultimately hospital policy and the anesthesiologist who gets to decide, but I remain there, capturing the before and after, should they not allow me inside the OR.

Your privacy, safety and satisfaction is my biggest priority. But I do love to empower and encourage women through beautiful visual storytelling in order to change the culture we live in, towards more family-centered birthing. Upon signing our contract you will be signing a non-identifying model release form. This means that photos that don’t identify you (arms, back of your head, or detail shots of your baby- because newborn babies change so quickly- These are included in the contract. But any photos that show your face, likeness or any identifiers will never be posted without your consent.
